A strong gymnastics foundation is key to success in cheerleading. Our program focuses on steady skill progression, and our coaches are trained to develop athletes from Level 1 to currently Level 6. Every athlete is challenged appropriately and celebrated for their growth.

Team Commitment
Cheerleading is a team sport, and every athlete plays an important role. Consistent attendance at practices and competitions is essential—not only for individual growth but for team success. When one athlete is missing, the whole team is affected. We ask all families to honor their child’s commitment to the team so that trust, unity, and performance can grow all season long.

Understanding the Difference
Elite Teams vs. Pre-Team / Exhibition / Recreational Teams
At Elite Cheer-Nastics, we offer something for every athlete — from beginners just learning the ropes to experienced cheerleaders ready to compete at the highest level. Here's a breakdown to help you understand the key differences between our Elite Teams and our Pre-Team / Exhibition / Recreational Teams.
Elite All Star Teams
For athletes looking to challenge themselves and compete at an advanced level.
1. High-Performance Environment
Elite teams are designed for athletes who are serious about cheer. These teams require commitment, discipline, and a strong work ethic.
2. Advanced Skill Development
Athletes will train in complex stunts, tumbling passes, pyramids, and choreographed routines. The goal is to perfect every element and continuously push to improve.
3. Competitive Focus
Elite teams compete throughout the season at multiple regional and national competitions. Athletes perform in front of judges and large crowds, with a goal to place among the best.
4. Significant Time Commitment
Practices are frequent and often longer. Athletes will also participate in extra sessions for conditioning, choreography, and stunt training. A strong level of dedication is expected.
Pre-Team / Exhibition / Recreational Teams
A great starting point for those new to cheer or still building foundational skills.
1. Beginner-Friendly Atmosphere
These teams offer a welcoming and positive environment. Perfect for athletes who are just getting started or who prefer a more relaxed introduction to cheer.
2. Focus on Skill Development
The primary focus is on learning and strengthening basic cheer skills such as motions, jumps, beginner tumbling, stunts, and performance confidence.
3. Introductory Competition Experience
Athletes may participate in 2–3 local events per season, depending on team readiness. These experiences help build confidence and excitement without pressure.
4. Flexible Time Commitment
Practices are shorter and less frequent, making this a great fit for athletes balancing other sports, school activities, or just testing out the sport.
Levels of Cheerleading
Cheerleading is organized by USASF skill levels, ranging from Level 1 to Level 7.
Pre-Team / Rec Teams typically compete at Levels 1–2, focusing on foundational skills.
Elite Teams may compete at Levels 1 through 7, performing more advanced and dynamic routines.
Choosing the Right Path
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete, we have a team that's right for you.
Pre-Team and Recreational Teams are perfect for learning, growth, and fun.
Elite Teams are ideal for those who are ready to commit and compete at a higher level.
No matter which path you choose, you'll gain skills, confidence, friendships, and a love for the sport that lasts a lifetime.
